A Luton landlord has been fined £7,000 for breaches of housing regulations including running unlicensed HMOs (House of Multiple Occupation). Whilst this fine was at the higher end, landlords need to fully understand all of the laws and regulations that now pertain to renting out property. One way to ensure this is to engage a good letting and mangement agent. A good agent can sometimes achieve a higher rental price, thus quite often paying for themselves, but more importantly they can keep you out of the courts! And don't think that every agent charges 10% + VAT. We don't ! We charge lower set fees with no VAT added, plus we give landlords a range of options depending on how much time and effort you want, or have, to spend on your rental. Our landlords get paid very quickly too - unlike some other agencies we don't hang on to your money. It costs nothing to talk, so why not give us a call or drop us an email: 9045 6162 (24 hours/7 days a week) / keyone@btinternet.com / www.keyoneproperty.co.uk.
