Selling? Get your price right first time to sell

Posted: 23/9/2020

We've always stressed to home sellers that it is imperative that you get your initial marketing price right, and now this has been confirmed by one of the biggest property portals in the UK. Righmove found that properties are more likely to find a buyer if the initial asking price hasn’t been altered. The portal tracked more than 300,000 homes that were first put up for sale between May 13 and July 31 and found that sellers are twice as likely to find a buyer for their home if the asking price it is first listed at does not have to change. Too many agents over-value properties just to get the business, but that is misleading sellers and they end up having to reduce months later when they have either no viewers or no offers. At Key One Property, we will give you an honest valuation, not an inflated one. What's more is that we will charge you half the price of most other estate agents for doing the same job! Our sale fee is only 0.5%* and there is no VAT on top of that. *Subject to minimum fee of £500, T&C.
