Under Offer, Sale Agreed,- what's the difference

Posted: 5/6/2017

Do agent's boards leave you puzzled? What exactly is the difference between "under offer" "sale agreed" "sold subject to contract" and "sold" ? Well according to the Property Ombudsman, the first three mean all the same thing - an offer has been accepted/a sale has been agreed but contracts have not yet been signed. "Sold" on the other hand should mean that contracts have been exchanged. So there you have it. If you are interested in selling you may be interested to know that our sale fee is only £500 (up to £200k). Sound fair?
