Estate agents costs fall but who is passing that on to home sellers?

Posted: 7/2/2017

Once upon a time your home had to be in the Belfast Telegraph or the monthly Property News magazine to stand any chance of selling it at a decent price. But those days are long gone. In fact Property News (the magazine) stopped printing several years ago. Ex-newspaper editor Keith Perch, now a professor of Journalism has said that the newspapers were just too slow to understand the threat of the internet. We think it has been a good thing, as it has lowered costs for home sellers (and probably done a bit for saving the odd forest too!). But wait we hear you say...reduce costs for selling? But estate agents haven't reduced their fees !! Quite right you are, most estate agents are still charging home owners several thousand pounds to sell their property. But at Key One Property we have passed on those reductions. You can sell with us for just £599 all in. That price includes board, photos, advertising on the two important websites in Northern Ireland - and - and your sale fee. No extra percentages or VAT to pay. We think that's fair so give us a call if you want to sell your property without being ripped off! 02890456162 (24 hour) or email NB Our fee is £500 up to £200,000 then only 0.5% after that. Marketing package from £99. Subject to our normal t&cs.
